Configurable Palm Torches are designed using off-the-shelf hardware components and configured to a customer's specifications. Unlike our Basic Palm Torches, these Palm Torches can be used with any common fire-dancing fuel.
The Finger Depth must be specified by the customer, and this measurement is made by measuring the thickness from palm to the back of the hand of the largest finger of the pair of fingers which hold the Palm Torch. In the event that adjustment is needed, the upper washer can be moved up or down by the user to find the ideal position. The Configurable Palm Torch features easy replacement of the Palm Torch wicks through the use of nuts and washers.
For optimal use, place the stem of the Basic Palm Torch between index and middle fingers, or between your middle and ring fingers. After soaking in fuel, be certain to tap or shake the torch lightly to ensure that there is no fuel drip. While the heat shield will protect you to some degree, do not hold the Palm Torch upside down for a prolonged period of time.
Palm Torches are 5.5 inches (12.7 cm) tall, and there are approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm) between the palm and the wick. A 3-inch-diameter washer protects the palm from heat and fuel drips. The Palm Torch comes with approximately 1.25 cubic inches of wick material (equivalent to our Basic Palm Torch, and 50% more than our eating torch)
