This sleeve protects the wrist and forearm with a 2-ply, truly 100% KEVLAR (R) body, and is heat and flash resistant. It is great for arm-wraps, general protection, safety personnel, or even for just keeping your arms warm. The sleeves are ever-fashionably black, and have a thumb-hole to help keep the sleeve in place. This is the best black KEVLAR (R) sleeve on the market. These 18.5-inch sleeves are very light and breathable and do not restrict movement.

Fire-resistant clothing and protective accessories improve your appearance to your local fire marshal, and fire-resistant or retardant clothing is often required by local authorities for public performances. Check with your fire department to find out what is required and suggested in your area!

Be wary of imitations! Some other companies are currently manufacturing and selling "100% KEVLAR (R) sleeves" that are actually blended with other synthetic fabrics, with threads that may melt or disintegrate with too much directly-applied heat and/or flame. Our sleeves are made to our specifications, and perform very well in burn tests.

This item is flame resistant; it will not ignite or continue to burn after exposure to an ignition source.

Sold by the pair. Hand-wash cold for best color-saving results.

Very nice product. I love how well it protects. however, it would be nice to have sizes, as mine are a bit to large, and I would like to have it closer to the skin, Maybe elastic around the ends...

I like these gloves, but they would be better if they had some elastic or something at the top because mine keep falling down. I'll try to alter them myself, but there should be sizes for men and women.

Wow FireMecca has FAST shipping. Thank you so much for the stickers, too. I ordered 5 more sleeves, so our group could wear them while performing. They will cbe very helpful to put our our fire pasties, which I made. They also keep our elbows, and wrists warm. Thank you again!

I ordered a pair of these for Burning Man and just to have some arm protection in general. My fire hoop only burned me once and the metal gets really hot. I like these sleeves or gloves as I call them. A group of us will be wearing them for our PoiLesque Burlesque act on the Playa this year. 3 guys and 3 gals and they fit us all, keep us warm and protected. My only curiosity is after my friend spun poi in them the color changes to off-black, but in the dark no one can notice. I also like how they go up past the elbow. :) Thanks Fire Mecca!

My boyfriend & I both have a pair. When he accidentally put one of mine on for a performance, the fabric stretched so much that they it falls down all the time now. The gloves give me confidence, but i wish they came in sizes so they'd stay up better & we could tell them apart. Keep em' comin' Fire Mecca!

I like the way it looks and feels when I first put it on. I like that it covers my hand partially and how far up my arm it goes but it needs some kind of upper support to keep it in position above the elbow. Even if you have hulking biceps this fashionable sleeve is going to fall down and quickly if your an average size person. I recommend having it sold in at least 3 sizes and finishing out the upper arm area in a way that will keep it where it's intended.

I love how it protects my wrists from wraps and kept me warm in the winter. But I absolutely hate the hand hole. It's really really loose and covers none of my fingers and partially none of my hand. I now only use it when I fold the bottom half up inside so the bottom is upat the top and actually protecting the area around my thumb as well as the top of my palm. Really the only reason I got it was it's the only fire resistant glove I could find. I would love to see it tighter at the hand instead of a tube as well as finger holes going a little below the bend in the fingers. Also a shorter version would be nice, it's nice long for staff, but it rides up so much that it gets about half it's length after a few minutes anyways. Overall, I like having the protection, but the design is completely deplorable and I can't say there's anything good about it other than I can get it on my hand and it stays there if I fold it.

Great for winter spinning and hooping. I would like them to stay up on my arms a little better, but overall they are perfect.
