This sleeve protects the wrist and forearm with a 2-ply, truly 100% KEVLAR (R) body, and is heat and flash resistant. It is great for arm-wraps, general protection, safety personnel, or even for just keeping your arms warm. The sleeves are ever-fashionably black, and have a thumb-hole to help keep the sleeve in place. This is the best black KEVLAR (R) sleeve on the market. These 18.5-inch sleeves are very light and breathable and do not restrict movement.

Fire-resistant clothing and protective accessories improve your appearance to your local fire marshal, and fire-resistant or retardant clothing is often required by local authorities for public performances. Check with your fire department to find out what is required and suggested in your area!

Be wary of imitations! Some other companies are currently manufacturing and selling "100% KEVLAR (R) sleeves" that are actually blended with other synthetic fabrics, with threads that may melt or disintegrate with too much directly-applied heat and/or flame. Our sleeves are made to our specifications, and perform very well in burn tests.

This item is flame resistant; it will not ignite or continue to burn after exposure to an ignition source.

Sold by the pair. Hand-wash cold for best color-saving results.

Great for winter spinning and hooping. I would like them to stay up on my arms a little better, but overall they are perfect.

I have a pair that I ordered a few months ago and just ordered a pair for a friend of mine! I am new to fire spinning and feel more confident in my moves with my gloves on. The price is perfect and well worth the purchase. They also will come in handy during the winter months! :)

these are long indeed. They come up to mid bicep on me, though I am not a large person. the material is not like Kevlar wicking. Its soft and stretchy, like what firefighters or racecar drivers wear. This makes them very comfortable and warm to wear. Slightly itchy brand new. And it is definitely fire resistant. I put it on and held my arm directly in a candle flame for 6 seconds before needing to remove it. Some discoloration and residual smell, but no damage. Matthew: make a skullcap to go with this. I would buy it. :)
