My sewing machine didn't like it. There were quite a few missed stitches and broken thread. But it is strong thread and hopefully will last a long time on the item I sewed.

I love using this thread for finishing off props so as to conceal any screws used in their construction and for making new toy possibilities that would otherwise not be possible

I ordered the black KEVLAR thread and it seemed to kink up a little as I tried to wind it on to my bobbin. It stopped after I let it hang loose from its original spool and unwind itself. I did run out sooner than I had expected but that may just be due to the fact that it is a small spool as advertised. It worked fine in my sewing machine and looks great on my new fire blankets.

When I first got this thread I was a bit skeptical. It did not seem as sturdy as the thread I got before but I decided to withhold judgment. Once I started working with this new thread I quickly came to like it. It's slides through wick very easily and it's easier to tie knots in. Making eating torches goes a lot faster now!

I have purchased several spools of kevlar thread from you in the past. I love how strong it is and how well it works. I ran out and ordered another spool of thread. This one was very fibrous. It frayed at the ends, twisted and tangled. The previous threads were tightly wound just like regular thread. It is a good thing this project required hand sewing as this thread was too fibrous to have used it in my machine. Did you get a new manufacturer or is this just an occasional problem you have with some spools of thread? I love kevlar thread, and I want to ensure high quality as sewing kevlar is hard enough with quality kevlar thread.
