Fire Mecca K1 fiberglass core braided ropes have a twisted fiberglass core sheathed in a blended KEVLAR(R) and fiberglass braid. K1 ropes are the most popular rope used by fire-dancers today, and fiberglasas core rope (K1RBF) is highly suitable for high-heat low-tension applications, such as monkey fists and stationary rope structures.
 
Fire Mecca K1 braided ropes are sold by the foot.

Information for customers with Bulk Memberships: Minimum per-item order quantity is 100 ft, except for 3/4 and 1 inch, for which it is 50 ft; orders of 100 ft. or more may include a single splice.

Our troupe prides ourselves on the fact that we can make most of our own implements. Works great braided, twisted, or knotted. Fire Mecca is by far the best place to get your Kevlar.

Got some 1/4 inch to be a core monkey fist knot for a large set of heads. This stuff is awesome and I will be getting more in the future.

The 5/5 goes out for the kevlar rope and fire mecca for the awesome service. Braided fire snakes turned out great from the instructions in the tutorial. I strayed away from buying the pre-fabricated ones because i like to make things for myself, this is less expensive by a lot, and I get the freedom to make them as long or as short as needed. Thank you.
