One of the most popular styles of poi in use today, the combination of Cathedral wick assemblies and chain poi leashes is reliable, affordable, and an easy choice for a first set of poi. Cathedral wicks have a "stacked" appearance, and offer the largest flame-to-volume ratio of all of our wicks, with a corresponding drop in burn-time. Glow sticks, glow poi balls, and many other types of LED equipment can be easily attached to the chain through the use of the pre-existing quicklinks.

Fire poi come in any length, up to 30 inches, measured end-to-end. If you are not sure what length is right for you, a good estimate can be made by measuring from your knuckles to your ankle, with your arm held straight to your side and relaxed. Most measurements end up between 21 and 28 inches.

The standard #15 nickel-plated steel ball chain is shiny and swivels at every link. The other standard features are 3.0 mm zinc-plated steel quicklinks and leather single-loop handles. The poi body can be upgraded to #15 stainless steel (SS) ball or twist link (TL) chain for a small additional cost, and handles can be upgraded from single-loop (SL) to double-loop (DL).

Duo-fold Cathedral Fire Poi heads are approximately 2.25 inches in width. The wick height (just the KEVLAR(R) material), as well as the height with the standard attachment, can be derived from the following list:
Small: 2 in. tall (2.5 incl. attachment)
(comparable to competitors' basic or medium poi heads)
Medium: 3 in. tall (3.5 incl. attachment)
Large: 4 in. tall (4.5 incl. attachment)

Tiny (1 in.) and Extra-large (5 in.) are available as custom items.

Good price good weight, perfect length (nice to be able to select the exact length). My only regret is that I didn't get the double loop handles. The leather on the handles is very stiff and not too comfortable when looped around my fingers.

I love how you can select the length, type of chain, and single or double loop handle. The leather on the handles, however, is VERY stiff (with an almost plastic feel). It makes for slightly uncomfortable spinning after a while. I will get callouses before I wear out this leather.

Another excellent product from Fire Mecca. It has been ten years and I'm a little out of practice but the chain and handles are very smooth. I have only burned them twice now but they have held up nicely and should get many more uses out of them. Thanks again
