Do you need KEVLAR (R) wick for your fire poi, fire staff, fire fan, or other fire implement? If so, you have come to the right place. We offer more sizes and varieties than any of our competitors, and at good prices, too.

Fire Mecca's K1 fire wick is a mix of aramid materials (e.g., KEVLAR (R) and NOMEX (R)) and fiberglass and is the most popular fire wick in the firedancing community today; if you are uncertain what type of fire wick you are using, it is probably this blend, regardless of where you obtained it. It is distinguished by it's yellow-orange color.

Fire wick is sold in continuous lengths, priced per-foot. Fire wick orders greater than 100 ft that are not multiples of 100 will contain multiple segments. Any given 100 ft roll may contain up to 1 splice. If you need multiple cuts, you can purchase cut labor here: Custom Cuts.

The best wick to use. Absorbent, easy to use and will last forever (close to 800-1000 burns, sorry, can't remember exactly :) if properly rolled/tied. With many different widths it is easy to adjust it to any application. A wick that our group recommends without any doubts.

The K1 1/8" is great! we swear by it, but as a bulk buyer, one downfall is that it's becoming more common to receive 100ft rolls that are not continuous length, therefor ending up with a bit less usable material. Other than that, thumbs up--
