>The predecessor of MoonBlaze fire poi, MoonBlaze Alpha poi were designed as an improvement to standard Cathedral heads. Their construction allows for a more uniform shape, greater retention of fuel during spinoff, and also increases the flame duration slightly. Glow sticks and many types of LED equipment can be easily attached to the chain through the use of the pre-existing quicklinks.

Fire poi come in any length, up to 30 inches, measured end-to-end. If you are not sure what length is right for you, a good estimate can be made by measuring from your knuckles to your ankle, with your arm held straight to your side and relaxed. Most measurements end up between 21 and 28 inches.

The standard #15 nickel-plated steel ball chain is shiny and swivels at every link. The other standard features are 3.0 mm zinc-plated steel quicklinks and leather single-loop handles. The poi body can be upgraded to #15 stainless steel (SS) ball or twist link (TL) chain for a small additional cost, and handles can be upgraded from single-loop (SL) to double-loop (DL).

MoonBlaze Alpha Fire Poi heads are approximately 2.25 inches in width. The wick height (just the KEVLAR(R) material), as well as the height with the standard attachment, can be derived from the following list:
Small: 2 in. tall (2.5 incl. attachment)
(comparable to competitors' basic or medium poi heads)
Medium: 3 in. tall (3.5 incl. attachment)
Large: 4 in. tall (4.5 incl. attachment)

Tiny (1 in.) and Extra-large (5 in.) are available as custom items.

These were my second set of poi, i got the 4 inch set, and i have absolutely no complaints.. They burn very fluent, are very tightly weaved, and burn forever. I'd recommend this product for anyone beginner to expert

This is my first set of fire poi and I have not lit them up yet. Been practicing with them until I am ready. I don't find the loops too stiff. I was most impressed with the speed at which they arrived. I would rate it at 5 once I can compare them to another set or light them up :) Seems perfect for a first timer. I got the 2in ones.

I love almost everything about this set of poi. The flame is huge and they burn for just about the right amount of time. I don't particularly like the handles, though. The stiff leather is uncomfortable and not very cooperative. I cut each loop slightly thinner, which helped, but even still I would highly recommend a different handle material. I'll probably make my own to replace the ones that came with the poi. Otherwise they're beautiful. =]

This Fire Poi set is great! I got all the extras stainless steel twist link with med. wick and DL handles.The Poi set just by looking at it you can tell is built by perfessionals>no flaws and no parts looked cheaply made or put together. The thing that impressed me the most was when i actually sent a question to Matthew(the owner of this site) and he responded the same day!(I give you tons of props for that Matthew). I reccomend this site to buy Fire Poi to anybody. Now it's time to go blaze the sky up!

This was my very first set of fire poi and I love them. The weight is very similar to the glow poi with the chain leashes! They are awesome! I love them and still use them! The burn time is great, I have not had a problem with them going out either! GREAT FIRST FIRE POI!
