Whether you are hooping for fitness or practicing to eventually use fire hoops, our practice and fitness hoops are suitable for both exercise and tricks. Our Collapsible Hoop's standard outer diameter (OD) is a slow 42 inches (40 inches Inner Diameter (ID)), making them suitable for all ages. ODs of 38 (ID 36) and 40 (ID 38) inches are also available for those with a faster style.

The Fire Mecca Collapsible Hoop breaks down into smaller sections for ease of travel (normally 3 sections, but 6 section hoops will fit in airplane carry-on). While other hoops commonly use hard-to-remove inserts to hold each section together, each section of our Collapsible Hoop has an integrated push-button connector that drastically simplifies assembly and disassembly, making our connection system the premiere system on the market. The button is located on the outside of the hoop so as not to get in the way when hooping. To put the hoop together, slide one piece into another until the button pops up. To collapse, simply push the button and simultaneously pull the sections away from each other, rotating the sections in opposite directions slightly.

Our collapsible hoop is made of translucent white 195 PSI 3/4 inch (ID) high-density polyethylene tubing. It is much more resistant to bending, denting, and warping than the black or otherwise-colored low-density (LDPE) tubing that many other manufacturers use. Feel free to store it in your car under full sun, step on it, or just be nice and hoop until you drop. The hoop weighs 1.7 lbs (.77 kg).

This hoop comes undecorated for those who wish to decorate their own hoop, or in a few popular styles. NOTE: images and descriptions may not be up-to-date due to our supplier's tape stock. Please contact us if you have any questions about tape combinations.

This hoop is very heavy even the 36/38. Also the hoop is very time consuming to put together, does not snap easily into place at all.

I've been really happy with my collapsible hoop, I travel often with it, the way it breaks down into short pieces makes it really easy to carry anywhere.
