Whether you need something to keep dust out at a Burning Man event, protect your eyes while performing, or shield your face while fire-breathing, the Body Spec Goggles (BSG) are a stylish way of getting the job done, whether you wear them as goggles or sunglasses. The prescription-ready black frames are stylized with flames, naturally.

The Safety Goggles are compliant with Safety and Ballistic standards ANSI Z87.1+ (the plus sign indicates that they meet the High Impact rating) and MIL-STD 662. Furthermore, the Safety Goggles are prescription (Rx) ready. Last, but not least, the Safety Goggles carry a lab-certified 100 percent UV protection rating.

Our Safety Goggles can be completely converted to sunglasses by removing the gasket, disconnecting the quick-release strap, and connecting the quick-release arms.

In addition to the goggle strap, the safety goggles come with two extra anti-fog 2.0 mm lenses (1 clear, 1 yellow), arms, a cleaning cloth, and a case.

As a commuter cyclist and a shooter, I need decent eye protection. these fit that bill quite nicely. The interchangable lenses are nice for cycling, and with their impact rating, I know they'll stop road-projectiles. The lenses are also more scratch resistant than most. And of course, they have the added bonus of not looking as dorky as most safety glasses. After owning a pair for a year I have noticed that they are clear plastic painted black (to allow for the fire effect), this is fine, except for excess sweat and skin oils will, over time, eat the paint.

These sunglasses / goggles are a daily part of my personal gear. With interchangeable lenses and the ability to convert between sunglasses and goggles, I can use them day and night and for just about anything where I want eye protection.
