A Fire Mecca conception and the original spiral-weave fire poi, MoonBlazeTM Fire Poi offer the best of both worlds; good flame size and duration at a low cost. Our unique MoonBlaze Fire Poi Heads are cylindrical and tight, reducing surface area and increasing the amount of fuel retained during spin-off. The result is a longer burn time and a longer lifetime.

Fire poi come in any length, up to 30 inches, measured end-to-end. If you are not sure what length is right for you, a good estimate can be made by measuring from your knuckles to your ankle, with your arm held straight to your side and relaxed. Most measurements end up between 21 and 28 inches.

Features[+] (Expand)

The standard #15 nickel-plated steel ball chain is shiny and swivels at every link. The other standard features are 3.0 mm zinc-plated steel quicklinks and leather single-loop handles. The poi body can be upgraded to #15 stainless steel (SS) ball or twist link (TL) chain for a small additional cost, and handles can be upgraded from single-loop (SL) to double-loop (DL). Ball chain is not suggested for chain wraps and hyperloops. Please consider twist link chain in these cases.

Specifications[+] (Expand)

MoonBlaze Poi heads are approximately 2.25 inches in width. The wick height (just the KEVLAR(R) material), as well as the height with the standard attachment, can be derived from the following list:
Small: 2 in. tall (2.5 incl. attachment)
(comparable to competitors' basic or medium poi heads)
Medium: 3 in. tall (3.5 incl. attachment)
Large: 4 in. tall (4.5 incl. attachment)

Tiny (1 in.) and Extra-large (5 in.) are available as custom items.

If you need additional customization, such as integrated swivels or custom poi leashes, visit our Poi Parts section to create your own poi!

Fire poi are sold as a pair.

For more information on wick materials, please visit the Materials Information section in our Learning Center.

I made a great choice in these poi. Not only did I get them in 3 days but the price was great. A few of my team members that I spin fire with have used them and all of them agree it was a great choice. Thank you again for a great burning and well made set of firepoi.

i have shopped around quite a bit before purchasing this item, needless to say their is nothing else like it, although, i think this site could have been more detailed on the different variations of the handle and cain setup, for example(pictures) but besides that, the kevlar design used in this implement is very well constructed(as seen in this video i found) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4do-kBbhZcg Alltogether firemecca is a fantastic site and i deffinitely reccomend to others.

This is my first set of fire poi and I couldn't be happier. They looked and felt great before I ever lit them. Very well built. They spin really well and the flame is huge. I wouldn't choose anyone else but Fire Mecca.

These are my first set of fire poi, and I am fully satisfied with their quality. The weight distribution is really nice, they are super sturdy (i recommend getting the stainless steal type for hyperloops and overall durability) and really, i couldnt be happier with this product. I like the cylindrical heads, greater surface area and it kinda makes me feel like i can pass them by each other closer than i could with cubes, but im not sure thats physically accurate. Anyways, i shopped around a bit, and im glad i decided to go with these. Quick service from some awesome people stateside. This is whats up~

Picked up my set of moonblaze Poi and it was love at first touch. Aside from a small issue that had to be RMA'ed, the poi work wonderfully. Big fan of the SS twist link chains. The equal weight and slight roundness to the heads make for easy control.

I spent almost $50 to have the set get to me before my buddy's going away party. THEY SHOWED UP IN MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME. I was and am ecstatic. The poi itself are moderately heavy. I chose 26 in cord with the help of phone-man Joe, which is perfect for me at 6 feet tall. I'm sincerely enjoying the new purchase. Thank you so much for getting them here on time.

I love Fire Mecca's Moonblaze wicks. I have three pairs for myself that are all different sizes and each one offers me variety in the length of its burn and the amount of fire it produces. There is not another style of poi wick that can compete! I recommend them to all of my students and all of the fellow performers.

Ive owned the 2.5 fists from hop, these are better. They burn bigger with a better looking flame in my opinion. The fact you can customize these as well as the price for performance, great job you guys. Will be sure to send salt lake your way.

These are the best fire poi I have ever spun, and I have tried a wide variety of others. The heads are tightly braided, with a perfect weight, and the attachment hardware is second to none. I now own two sets of these, one with 4" wicks, and one with 2" wicks made from the 1/4" tape. Both absorb fuel extremely well, and burn for much longer (and with larger flames) than similarly sized cathedral heads. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and always refer spinners here when asked my opinion of what to get. I would recommend the double loop handles and the stainless steel ball chain, as they have served me well, and are worth the few dollars extra. You can't go wrong with a set of Moonblazes.
